Oslo Havn KF (Port of Oslo) manages the entire port of Oslo, including Sydhavna, Hjortnes, Filipstad, and the areas around Bjørvika. As part of a major modernization effort and transition to a new FM platform (FAMAC), the port needed to migrate massive volumes of unstructured documentation to a new system.
The challenge was substantial: thousands of documents with poor file names, unclear folder structures, and a vast number of duplicates. A manual review would have required enormous resources and taken an unrealistic amount of time.
The Solution
Findable was selected through a public procurement with a contract value of 1.2 MNOK. Working alongside FDVhuset, Findable handled sorting and categorization while FDVhuset managed the transfer to FAMAC.
The AI read document content — file names didn't matter — and classified everything according to NS 3451. Duplicates were automatically detected and removed.

Findable read, sorted, and categorized all documents automatically according to NS 3451 — regardless of file names. The result was a complete, structured document portfolio ready for import into FAMAC.
Skur 84 — The Proof
Skur 84 was the definitive stress test for Findable at Oslo Havn. The building had it all: extremely poor file naming, a massive document volume, and a high number of duplicates.

Ongoing Use
