December was one of our most substantial months yet, with a major platform update followed by a steady run of refinements. The themes: a more capable Ask Findable, a clearer view of each building's status, new ways to connect Findable to the systems you already use, and finer control over who can do what.

A more capable Ask Findable

We made the AI assistant easier to reach and better at the kind of digging that real questions require.

  • A new inline Ask Findable panel you can open from anywhere in the app, so you can ask a question without leaving the page you are on.
  • A deep research mode for more thorough analysis, with the AI's thinking process now visible for transparency and collapsed by default to keep things tidy.
  • Web search with an approval step, plus intelligent follow-up suggestions and AI-generated conversation titles so your chat history stays easy to scan.
  • Ask Findable is now the default landing page, and chat is available on shared collection pages.

A clear view of every building

A new dashboard puts the status of each building in one place.

  • The Building Health Dashboard shows tasks, checklists, recent uploads, collections, and items that need attention, giving you a quick read on activity and status.
  • New checklist templates and a paginated PDF export with a cover page for task reports, complete with building names and timestamps.

Connect Findable to your other systems

We expanded the integrations that let documents and metadata flow between Findable and the tools your teams rely on.

  • A new Plania integration with bidirectional document synchronisation, configurable OAuth2 credentials, and batch upload with progress tracking and cancellation.
  • A new Dalux integration for metadata synchronisation, with configurable custom field mappings.
  • Folder and category filtering for FAMAC sync, plus a HubSpot CRM connection for customer management.

Workflows, tasks and access control

Automation and permissions both got more flexible.

  • Create workflows from a plain-language description, save drafts, and get AI-powered document suggestions when choosing data sources.
  • Multi-assignee support for tasks and routines, and a new operations access level for users who only need to view, create and edit tasks and upload files.
  • Granular folder-level and building-level permissions, plus a project authorisation model with Admin, Editor, Upload, and Read roles.

Documents and drawings

Viewing and managing large document sets is faster and smoother.

  • A toggle between DWG and PDF viewing for technical drawings, resizable viewer panels, and support for more image formats.
  • Multi-select download with ZIP creation, where small selections download immediately and large ones are prepared in the background with an email when ready.
  • Higher drawing view limits and a virtualised document table for quicker loading on big buildings.
