Search v2, a new drawings view, and finer access control
May brought a major step up in how quickly you find documentation and how precisely you control who sees it. We rebuilt search from the ground up, gave drawings their own dedicated view, and added more granular access management — alongside meaningful improvements to checklists and day-to-day navigation.
Faster, sharper search
We rebuilt the search experience so you can get to the right document with less effort.
- Search v2 is a complete overhaul of the underlying search architecture, with improved algorithms for more relevant results.
- Results now show highlighted matches in context instead of a summary, so you can see straight away why a document came up.
- A new Ask history keeps a record of your previous questions, making it easy to return to earlier answers.
- A refreshed app shell brings search into the centre of the experience, with clearer breadcrumb navigation as you move around.
A clearer view of your documents
Drawings and collections are easier to browse, organise and work with in bulk.
- A new drawings view presents your drawings in a table interface, with a built-in feedback system to flag issues.
- Collections gain a grid view plus a range of fixes and refinements for a smoother experience.
- You can now bulk-edit subcontractors, updating category and serial numbers across many records at once.
More control over access
Access management is now more granular and easier to audit.
- New access control for projects and construction lets you set permissions for these areas specifically.
- An activity log on the access management pages shows who changed what and when.
- The user list now supports customer-based filtering, and the user invitation flow has been improved.
- Stronger permissions handling and clearer authentication error messages round out the access experience.
Stronger checklists and a smoother everyday
Checklists became more capable, and several everyday rough edges are gone.
- Comprehensive checklist setup and better state handling make it easier to create and manage checklists, with deleted checklists now filtered out of building details.
- Improved sorting by numbers and clearer empty states make long lists easier to read.
- On mobile, text no longer overflows the chat input bar, so asking questions on the go is more comfortable.
